Bin Li (b. Fuzhou, China) is a composer, artist and GuQin (古琴) player based in New York City. His work explores the immateriality of sound and its derivatives. Bin’s music has been performed internationally at the Aspen Music Festival, the Avantin Suvisoitto, the Tenri Cultural Institute, and the Palais Montcalm, and by Avanti! Chamber Orchestra, Indianapolis Chamber Orchestra and Ensemble Multilatérale. His recent scores are published by Edition Wandelweiser in Germany. More information: www.bindavidli.com.
