Michael Loruss, Managing Editor: Michael Loruss is a native Californian, a veteran of the United States Army, and an alumnus of Berea College, where he studied English literature. He holds an MFA in Creative Writing from Hollins University, was co-recipient of an Academy of American Poets Prize, and has been twice nominated for a Pushcart Prize. His work has been published in Guernica, The Paris-American, PANK, and The Los Angeles Review.
Dante Di Stefano, Poetry Editor: Dante Di Stefano is the author of two poetry collections: Love Is a Stone Endlessly in Flight (Brighthorse Books, 2016) and Ill Angels (Etruscan Press, 2019). His poetry, essays, and reviews have appeared in Prairie Schooner, The Sewanee Review, The Writer’s Chronicle, and elsewhere. Along with María Isabel Àlvarez, he is the co-editor of the anthology, Misrepresented People: Poetic Responses to Trump’s America (NYQ Books, 2018).
Jennifer Palmer, Art Editor: Jennifer was born and raised in Pennsylvania and currently resides in Kentucky. She holds a BA in Art and Political Science from Cedar Crest College, and a MFA in painting from the Savannah College of Art and Design. Jennifer is an artist and has been featured in New American Paintings and included in the Viewing Program at the Drawing Center in NYC. She currently works at colleges and a university in the greater Louisville area and exhibits her art nationally.
Ryan Boyd, Reviews Editor: Ryan Boyd (@ryanaboyd) lives in Los Angeles, where he is on the faculty of the University of Southern California’s Writing Program. He has a BA from the College of William & Mary and a PhD in English from the University of California, Santa Barbara. His work has appeared in FIELD, The Texas Review, The Los Angeles Review, and Seneca Review, among other places.
Jonas Criscoe, Art Editor: Jonas Criscoe is an interdisciplinary visual artist whose work has been exhibited throughout the United States, most notably at the International Print Center in New York and the Minnesota Museum of American Art. Criscoe has also been featured in various art publications, including Art Lies and New American Painting. He was recently named a Jerome Fellow at the Highpoint Center for Printmaking, as well as a West Prize acquisition recipient. A native of Austin, Texas, he received his BFA from the School of Visual Arts in New York and the University of Texas at Austin, and his MFA from the Rhode Island School of Design in 2008. Currently, he is on the faculty of the Art School at The Contemporary Austin.
Daniel Pecchenino, Reviews Editor: Daniel lives in Hollywood and teaches in the Writing Program at the University of Southern California. He holds a BA in Creative Writing from UC Santa Cruz, and a PhD in American literature from UC Santa Barbara. His poetry and criticism have appeared in The Los Angeles Review, Hawai’i Pacific Review, Southern Spaces, Religion Dispatches, and several other publications.
